I had the idea that there would be a conveyor belt for Gaga to help make toys–that would have her hammer on the beat. I decided to go with toy cars. I took several royalty-free photos of sports cars and using blend mode in Photoshop, “melted” them together to create this fictitious car with dynamic sheen. But how to make a car with a hammer motion? I decided to approach it as it it were a candy created wildly in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Thus, I warped the finished car into a blob. The hammer would shape it into a car in a flash of magic. To create the flash effect, I used a bit of light leak footage (not included, but can be found on sites like pixabay, pexels, or videvo.
